女书，意为女性的文字，是一种受汉字影响的音节文字。它仅被湖南省江永县的瑶族女性使用。文化大革命中断了女书的语言和书写，加上时代的发展和人口的流失，女书现在即将濒临失传。女性曾经使用女书来书写信件和诗歌等表达对父权社会的不满，以及增强女性之间的联系和沟通。

"女书字体排版" 是一个专为女书设计的网页排版工具，希望能让对女书感兴趣的人能轻松使用这个字体排版工具来排版女书相关文档。

Nushu, also known as “women’s script,” is a syllabic script derived from Chinese characters. It was uniquely used by the ethnic Yao women in Jiangyong County, Hunan Province. However, the Cultural Revolution severely disrupted the usage of Nushu. Coupled with modern advancements and population shifts, this script is now at risk of vanishing. In the past, women used the Nushu language to express dissatisfaction with patriarchal society and to build bonds between women. They wrote letters, poems, and songs to communicate their ideas to the women’s community. 

Nushu Typesetter>, aims to create a typesetting tool solely designed for the Nushu Language. The project intends to help people interested in this language easily typeset the language and use it in prints.
